Whistler isn’t just a winter wonderland, summer here is pure magic too! This world class ski resort, famous from the 2010 Olympics, transforms into an adventure playground when the snow melts. From my home near Vancouver, it’s an easy, and incredibly scenic, drive up the Sea to Sky Highway. Think dramatic coastal views, jagged mountain peaks and endless outdoor adventures. Along the way, you’ll catch epic sights of Howe Sound, sparkling waterfalls, glimmering lakes, and lush alpine forests, making the journey just as spectacular as the destination!

Our adventure started with a visit to the breathtaking Shannon Falls, just a quick five-minute walk from the highway. Even in the dry season, it's a sight to behold! I wore my Farrah dress in Coral. It's so lightweight, comfy and I felt especially cute in it!

Next stop was Nairn Falls, just 20 minutes past Whistler! The hike was easy, taking about half an hour along a path with a stunning aqua water below. Despite the 30° weather, the cool forest provided some relief, but the final climb over sunbaked granite to the falls was a scorcher. On the way back, we climbed down to the creek to enjoy the refreshing water.

We spent two unforgettable nights at the cozy Pinnacle Hotel, waking up to breathtaking views of Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains right from our room. Strolling through the charming chalet style village in my Turnip The Style - Greta Tunic Dress felt wonderfully relaxing. Whistler has such a casual, outdoorsy vibe. While a some folks dress up for dinner, most people embrace athletic wear all day in the summer, adding to the laid back atmosphere.

Our full day in Whistler was nothing short of spectacular. We rode the gondola to the mountain peak and were blown away by the sweeping views of coastal mountains and shimmering glacier lakes. With a day pass in hand, we explored every corner of the mountain, and the Peak 2 Peak gondola ride connecting Blackcomb to Whistler Mountain was absolutely thrilling. It was one adventure we’ll never forget!

My Farrah dress was a perfect choice...Until it wasn't....

The absolute highlight of the trip? Riding another gondola all the way to the mountain’s peak and stepping onto the Cloudbreaker Skybridge. It was equal parts breathtaking but scary, but oh, those 360 degree views made every racing heartbeat worth it! I’d barely taken ten steps onto the bridge when a gust of wind caught my dress and sent it flying, cue a major wardrobe malfunction!

So if you plan to tackle the Skybridge, leave the dresses behind.
I hope you get to experience Whistler one day! It's an amazing place!
