If the name Sookie rings a bell it's because this dress is named after the character 'Sookie Stackhouse' from the HBO series True Blood. If you're a fan you may recognize the flirty little number with the gathered bust she wore to her first Fangtasia visit. Yes, the dress in which Bill referred to her as 'Vampire Bait'. The Sookie also features wide, bra covering shoulder straps, even deeper pockets, and a full skirt with room for one of our SHORT crinolines*. 

Our designer Diane is 5'2" and wearing a size 1X.

Favourite Style Yet!

I’ve started to amass a Cherry Velvet collection, and I can say that the Sookie is my favourite by far and compliments my hourglass figure the best. I LOVE the rouched bust and wide straps that hide the bra straps. It cinches in at the waist and really accentuates my figure. Fits true to size, I only have to shorten the straps a smidge. Please make this in more autumn colours for us gingers!
