Inspired by the character from the Bridgerton Series, we envision this dress as the ultimate pick for Penelope as a Cherry Velvet gal. We think she would approve! It's based off the fit of our popular Norma dress with added flutter sleeves and a 3" longer skirt. You'll find very generous pockets and a full skirt suitable for one of our classic crinolines* with layers of chiffon for an authentic 50's look.

Fit notes: If you have an above average to larger bust, this style is for you. Also the flutter sleeve is very accommodating for a fuller bicep.

Size M - XL  measures approximately 42.5" from shoulder to back hem.
Sizes 0X - 3X measure approximately 43" from shoulder to back hem.

I understood the assignment

Picked up this beautiful jellyfish Penelope dress when planning to Dine Out at the Vancouver Aquarium. It was perfect in every way. The bodice design is so flattering, the sleeves provide great coverage of the upper arms but also worked great with a purple shrug to provide a little more warmth. I was very on brand but I will wear this dress over again, it’s gorgeous and fun.

Lovely everything!

I have loved all my Cherry Velvet dresses. I even wore my jellyfish dress and I’m going to be 75 in October. I now wear 1x ( lost weight) and they still always fit perfectly!
